Our Story
Welcome to our business, Wiregrass Event Rentals! Our owner, Kyle, is branching his family business of 40 plus years into the Wiregrass area all the way from sunny Southern California. Crazy, right?! Here's our story.
Kyle's grandfather originally opened Haz Rentals in Placentia, California in 1974. With many successes, even a few terms of serving as mayor of the city, George Ziegler decided it was time to retire and hand the company down to his daughter, Margaret, in 2003. Kyle's mother, Margaret, began expanding Haz Rentals into Haz Party Rentals to meet the needs of the surrounding areas. For the last couple of decades, Haz has been providing service to Orange, San Bernardino, and LA county with any and all equipment and decor imaginable for a variety of gatherings, parties, weddings, and corporate events with Kyle's help. Kyle has just recently gotten married and moved way across the country to our neck of the woods, Slocomb, Alabama of all places! As their personal wedding planning was taking place, they realized the Wiregrass area needed a rental company to accommodate people like them. What better way to provide family-friendly services to our Wiregrass area and bring a little of his home to ours than to branch and create Wiregrass Event Rentals!
